Terms of Service

VantageHound LLC · last updated September 22, 2026 · matches the installer agreement v2

1. The service

VantageHound LLC (“VantageHound”) provides a scored, exclusive list for one territory, the creative for each wave, mailing through a licensed mail house, a tracked welcome page and phone number, first-touch appointment booking into the installer's calendar, and a shared pipeline where closes are reconciled against public permit records. It is a marketing service only. VantageHound is not a lead broker of personal data and does not sell consumer person-lists.

2. Fees (founding terms)

  • Territory retainer: $750 per month. Monthly coverage; the first month is charged at card setup and the retainer then renews on the 1st of each month. Keeps the territory reserved and the reservoir monitored.
  • Wave deposit: $1,200 per wave. Charged before a wave ships; covers print and postage; non-refundable.
  • Success fee: $400 per confirmed closed job. Charged when the installer marks a booking won, then independently reconciled against public permits.

Accepting the agreement charges nothing; setting up the card charges the first wave deposit and the first month's retainer, and the retainer then renews on the 1st of each month. Amounts are exclusive of applicable taxes. A territory whose agreement sets different amounts is billed at those amounts.

3. Billing

The installer keeps a valid card on file, authorised for the charges above. Retainer and deposits auto-charge on schedule; success fees auto-charge on the confirmation in section 5. A failed or disputed charge pauses new waves and, if unresolved in 10 days, releases the territory to another installer.

4. Exclusivity

One installer per territory (a county, or a half of one, for one trade). The territory is not resold while active. Exclusivity holds only while the retainer is current; non-payment releases it. Exclusivity also depends on working the leads: booked appointments must receive follow-up within 2 business days and an outcome recorded in the pipeline. If, across two consecutive waves, a majority of booked appointments go unworked or unrecorded, VantageHound may release the exclusivity on 30 days written notice. No minimum number of closes is ever required.

5. What counts as a close

Attribution is anchored to the first-party booking: when a homeowner scans a VantageHound piece or calls the tracked number and an appointment is booked into the installer's calendar, that lead belongs to VantageHound. A close is recorded when the installer marks the booking won, and the success fee charges on that confirmation. A permit-confirmed job in the territory that was not reported is billed as a close and flagged. The installer has a 5-business-day review window to dispute before a fee settles.

6. Term and termination

Month-to-month. Either party may end the agreement with 30 days notice after the first wave completes. On termination VantageHound stops new waves; fees already earned or in the attribution window remain due.

7. Limits

VantageHound is not affiliated with any utility and makes no guarantee of a specific number of closes. The installer is responsible for licensed trade work, quotes, and any promises made at the appointment. Mail is addressed to Current Resident or by route; opt-outs are honoured; claims are backed by public record. All follow-up contact is homeowner-initiated.

8. Homeowners

If you received our mail and want no more, use /opt-out. How we handle your data is in the privacy page.

9. SMS Terms

VantageHound sends text messages only to a number that was entered on one of our forms under the consent line, or that called the tracked number on a mailed piece. Messages are about that booking or account: a booking link after a missed call, appointment confirmations and time changes, and alerts to the contractor. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP for help or email privacy@vantagehound.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile information is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and contact

VantageHound LLC is an Idaho limited liability company; these terms and the installer agreement are governed by the laws of Idaho. The agreement an installer accepts online is the whole deal and governs wherever this summary differs. Questions: privacy@vantagehound.com.
